For teams that sell with a Challenger-style approach
Can an AI sales coach help my reps run the Challenger Sale live?
Yes. Upload your commercial insight, tailoring notes for each buyer role, and pricing talk tracks, and Amotions AI coaches from them on Zoom, Teams, Meet, or dialer calls. A private overlay suggests the next line in your team’s wording: lead with the insight, tie it to this buyer, and hold your ground when they push back.

How it works
How does a Challenger playbook become live prompts?
Live suggestions draw on the insight and talk tracks you upload, plus what the buyer just said. Separately, the steps you set under Organization settings → Playbooks become a checklist on the call, so the rep can see whether the teaching, tailoring, and take-control moments have happened yet.
1Upload your insight and talk tracks
Add your commercial teaching story, the reframe you lead with, tailoring notes for each stakeholder, and how you handle price and timing pushback. Amotions calibrates to your language, typically in about one week.
2Set the steps and the scorecard
Under Organization settings, add steps such as Teach, Tailor, and Take control in Playbooks, then add matching criteria in Scoring Config. Reminders can nudge a rep when an item has not come up.
3Coach live, score, and rehearse
On the call, the private overlay shows one suggestion at a time and checks off steps. Afterwards, the call is scored out of 100 against your criteria, and reps rehearse the reframe in AI roleplay.
- AEThanks for the time. Want me to start with a quick overview of the product?
- Head of SalesSure. We already do weekly call reviews, so I’m curious what’s different.
Suggestion
Lead with the insight before the overview: what weekly reviews miss about deals that are already slipping.

Example
What does a live Challenger prompt look like?
Here is an illustrative late-stage call. The insight landed and the solution was tailored, then the buyer asks for a discount. The overlay suggests holding the price by going back to the cost of the problem, in the team’s own wording, instead of conceding.
- AE:So the plan covers both regional teams, with onboarding in the first month.
- VP Sales:It looks good, but you’re more expensive than the other tool we saw. Can you do better on price?
Suggestion
Don’t discount yet. Restate the cost of slipping deals they agreed to, then ask what the cheaper option leaves unsolved.

What the rep said next
“Fair question. Earlier you said two late-stage deals slipped last quarter without anyone noticing. Which of those would the other tool have caught?”
Compare
How is this different from post-call tools and roleplay apps?
Post-call tools show whether a rep taught, tailored, and held price once the call is over, and roleplay apps rehearse those moments before. Amotions coaches them during the live call and adds practice and scoring on the same material. The other categories are stronger at some jobs.

FAQ
Questions people ask
Short, direct answers on how it works, what it needs from you, privacy, and pricing.
What is the Challenger Sale?
It is a selling approach described by Matthew Dixon and Brent Adamson in their 2011 book, based on CEB research into how reps sell (CEB is now part of Gartner). It argues that strong performers in complex sales teach buyers something new about their business, tailor that message to each stakeholder, and take control of the conversation, including money.
Can AI coach reps to teach, tailor, and take control during a live call?
Yes. Amotions AI suggests the next line from your uploaded insight and talk tracks, based on what the buyer just said, and a Playbook checklist shows which of your steps are done. Only the rep sees the overlay. After the call, it is scored against your own criteria.
Can it stop reps from discounting as soon as a buyer pushes on price?
It can remind them. If your talk tracks say to restate the cost of the problem before discussing price, live suggestions follow that wording when price comes up. Managers can then check on real calls whether reps used the approved approach.
Does the AI read our Challenger call steps as a script?
No. The steps you add under Organization settings → Playbooks drive the on-call checklist and reminders. Live suggestions come from your uploaded documents and the conversation itself, and reps speak in their own words.
Can reps practice a Challenger-style reframe with AI roleplay?
Yes. An admin builds scenarios in Roleplay Config, such as a skeptical buyer who thinks their current process works. Reps practice the reframe and get a transcript, a score out of 100 against your criteria, and feedback, including on vocal tone and delivery.
Is Amotions affiliated with Challenger?
No. Amotions is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Challenger, Inc., Gartner, or the book’s authors. Challenger and The Challenger Sale are trademarks of their owners. Amotions does not provide Challenger training content; it coaches from the material your team uploads.
How much does an AI sales coach for Challenger teams cost?
Basic is free and includes every Professional feature except custom AI agents, with limited usage, so you can test it on a real call with your own material. Starter is $49/seat/month billed annually ($59 billed monthly). Every plan is listed on the Amotions pricing page.
