Steps towards building empathy
We often start Amotions events with the loving-kindness meditation to cultivate a compassionate and safe space for everyone to share and practice techniques to develop various skills. You can do this meditation with peers at Amotions events (https://amotionsinc.com/), and practice this in your daily life to help you keep calm and compassionate.
You can join video or audio sessions to connect and share with each other, and practice together. You can also develop important skills, such as emotional intelligence and communication, for handling conflicts and difficult conversations at work and in personal life. Studies show that emotional intelligence is correlated with better and happier relationships with colleagues, family, and romantic partners, better leadership and social influence skills, higher performance in people facing jobs, and better emotional and mental health.
Join a community of like-minded people and talk in a safe space. Sessions often start with the loving kindness meditation to cultivate a compassionate environment with trust. We provide guidelines on exercises to develop different aspects of the skills you would like to work on, such as empathetic listening, negotiation, receiving and handling feedback. You can even volunteer to receive trainings and become a moderator, and host practice sessions and invite your friends and family to join.
Besides great coaches with extensive experience, you can also work with an AI virtual coach. We will provide you with AI-powered real-time advice and exercises for you to stay calm, cultivate good communication and relationships with others, reduce stress or anxiety, and manage emotions. These will be based on understanding your facial expressions, voice, tones, speech, body languages, heart rate, and other signals. Through sharing, listening, and practicing together, you and other users will help each other maintain good emotional and mental health and develop useful skills.
