How to use Amotions AI: a getting-started guide for live calls, roleplay, and post-call feedback

What is Amotions AI?
Amotions AI is a real-time private AI sales coach that delivers in-call guidance, AI roleplay, and post-call scorecards—trained on the customer’s playbook. It does not join meetings as a bot.

Step 1: Create a free account
Go to https://amotionsinc.com/signup and create an account. New accounts start on the Basic plan, which is free and includes limited usage of live coaching, AI roleplay, and call uploads.
That is enough to test Amotions AI on a few of your own calls before deciding on a paid plan. You do not need to book a demo first. If you want help mapping it to your process, you can book a call any time from https://amotionsinc.com/pricing/contact.
Step 2: Choose how Amotions AI listens to your calls
Click Real-time AI in the sidebar. Amotions asks how you want to access real-time coaching and offers three options:

Desktop App (recommended on Mac and Windows). It works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, phone dialers, and in-person conversations, and it does not join the meeting as a bot. Zoom, Teams, and Meet calls are picked up automatically. For phone, dialer, or in-person calls, click the purple Start button. Download: https://amotionsinc.com/download

Web Browser. Use this if you cannot install software. Join your video call in Chrome on Mac or Windows, open Real-time AI, click “Connect to Call”, then share the call’s tab with audio sharing turned on. Click “Disconnect” when you are done.

There is no mobile app for live coaching. For calls on your cell phone, take the call on a computer or dialer, or use speakerphone near the desktop app.
Step 3: Tailor it to how you sell
Suggestions are only as useful as what Amotions AI knows about your calls. Spend ten minutes here before your first real call.

Fill in your organization profile: organization description, organization context, sales methodology, and call types.

Step 4: Rehearse with AI roleplay (optional)
Before a big call, practice it. AI roleplay plays the buyer, raises the objections you expect, and scores the practice against your criteria. It is a low-stakes way to see what kind of suggestions you will get, and to rehearse the moments where you usually get stuck.

Step 5: Take a live call
Start your call and keep the Real-time Suggestions panel open beside it. Amotions AI listens to both sides and shows a short suggestion when there is a natural pause: a discovery question, an answer to a technical question, or a way to handle an objection.
Three settings help first-time users the most:

Compact view vs Expanded view. Compact view shows only the latest suggestion. Expanded view keeps every suggestion from the call in a scrollable list, newest first, so an earlier one is still there if a new one arrives.

Phases. If your admin set up call steps, the Phases panel shows which steps are done and which one you are on.
Use suggestions as nudges, in your own words. You do not need to read them out.
Step 6: Review the call afterward
Click Post-meeting Insights in the sidebar and open the call. The tabs are Summary, Transcript, AI suggestions & tracking, and Ask AI.
The AI suggestions & tracking tab shows phase tracking, post-call suggestions, and every in-call suggestion with the time it appeared. It is the easiest way to see a suggestion you missed while talking.
Ask AI lets you ask questions about the call, such as “What did the buyer say about timing?” or “Which objection did I not answer?”
A first-week plan
Day 1: sign up, install the desktop app (or set up the web app), and upload your playbook.
Day 2: set your call steps, then run one AI roleplay of your most common call.
Days 3 to 5: use live coaching on real calls. After each one, open AI suggestions & tracking and note which suggestions helped and which you ignored.
End of week: adjust the suggestion count, add any missing objections or talk tracks to your documents, and decide whether to upgrade.
