Direct answer
Can Amotions AI follow my call structure and track what I have covered?
Yes. In Organization settings, add your call steps (and the items inside each step) under “Steps shown in Real-time AI”. During the call, the Phases panel checks off each step once it has clearly been covered and moves to the next one. Reminders can nudge you if a key item has not come up by a set time.
What is Amotions AI?
Amotions AI is a real-time private AI sales coach that delivers in-call guidance, AI roleplay, and post-call scorecards—trained on the customer’s playbook. It does not join meetings as a bot.
What “following your call structure” looks like on a call
During a live call, the Real-time AI page shows a Phases panel next to your suggestions. It lists the steps of your call. Finished steps get a check mark, the current step is highlighted, and the items inside a step get a green dot as you cover them.
Amotions AI only marks something done when the conversation clearly shows it, for example when you have actually asked about the buyer’s timeline, not just mentioned timing in passing. When a step is complete, the panel moves on to the next step that is still open.
Your live suggestions use the same steps, so the questions and transitions you see fit where you are in the call.
Step 1: Write down your call structure
Before you open settings, write your call as 4 to 6 steps, each with 2 to 4 things you need to cover. For example, a 30-minute discovery call:
•
Open: confirm time, set the agenda, ask what they want to get out of the call.
•
Current situation: how they handle it today, who is involved, what is not working.
•
Impact: what it costs them, why now.
•
Fit: show only the part of the product that matches what they said.
•
Next step: agree on a date, who else should join, and what they need to see.
Keep step names short. They need to be readable at a glance during the call.
Step 2: Add the steps in Organization settings
Organization admins can do this from Organization settings.
1.
Open the “Steps shown in Real-time AI” tab.
2.
Create a step group for this call type (for example, “Discovery call”). Use “Set as default” for the group you use most.
3.
Click “Add new step” for each step and give it a Step Name and Step Description. Add the items you need to cover as substeps.
4.
Choose the Step completion rule: “Mark step complete only when all tasks are done” (the default), or “Mark step complete if any task is completed”.
Use “all tasks” for steps you must not skip, like qualification. Use “any task” for flexible steps, like rapport.
Step 3: Pick the right structure for each call
If you have more than one call type, such as a first call and a demo, make a step group for each. Under the Pre-call Questions tab, admins can set questions that appear when someone starts Real-time AI. Reps use that screen to choose the step group for the call, or skip it to use the default.
You can also fill in “Organization call types” and “Organization sales methodology” on the General tab, so the coach knows what kind of calls you run.
Step 4: Add reminders for things you must not miss
Reminders are timed checkpoints. Open the Reminders tab and click “+ Create reminder”. Each reminder has three fields:
•
Check delay (seconds): how long after the call starts to check, for example 900 for 15 minutes.
•
Playbook item: the thing that should have come up by then, for example “budget”.
•
Coach message: what to show if it has not, for example “Ask about budget before the demo.”
If the item has already come up by then, nothing is shown. If it has not, the coach message appears in your suggestions.
This is the closest thing today to “it is time to move on”. Set a reminder for the item that should start the next step, timed to when you want to be there.
Step 5: Add your own transitions and talk tracks
If you want a short line to bridge from one step to the next when you get stuck, put it in your uploaded documents. A one-page document with your preferred transition between each step works well. Suggestions draw on your uploaded material, so the wording will sound like your process rather than a generic script.

What it does not do yet
Amotions AI does not currently time each topic live or warn you that you have spent too long on one area. It also does not show talk-time or monologue alerts during the call. Talk ratio is available after the call, in your call insights.
Until then, timed reminders are the best way to keep a call on schedule, and the Phases panel shows at a glance what is still open.
Check how it went after the call
Open the call from Post-meeting Insights and go to the AI suggestions & tracking tab. Phase tracking shows which steps were covered, next to every suggestion you got and when.
If a step was missed on several calls, that is a good topic for an AI roleplay before the next one.
Frequently asked questions
Q1.
Can Amotions AI track which parts of my call I have covered?
A.
Yes. Add your call steps under “Steps shown in Real-time AI” in Organization settings. The Phases panel checks each step off during the call.
Q2.
Can I have different structures for different call types?
A.
Yes. Create a step group for each call type and choose one in the pre-call questions when you start Real-time AI.
Q3.
Can Amotions AI remind me if I forgot something important?
A.
Yes. A reminder shows your coach message if a playbook item has not come up a set number of seconds into the call.
Q4.
Does it tell me when I have spent too long on one topic?
A.
Not yet. There is no live time-per-topic alert today. Use a timed reminder for the item that should start your next step.
Q5.
Who can edit the call steps?
A.
Organization admins. Other users see a note asking them to contact their admin.
Q6.
Will following steps make the call sound scripted?
A.
No. Steps only track what has been covered. You run the conversation in your own words, and suggestions are short nudges you can ignore.
