Direct answer
Does Amotions AI understand the whole conversation or only the most recent comment?
It follows the whole call. Each suggestion responds to what the buyer just said, because that is the moment you need help with, but Amotions AI reads it alongside a running summary of everything said so far, your uploaded playbook and documents, and the suggestions it already showed you. The Steps panel also ticks off playbook steps whenever they come up, even early in the call.
What is Amotions AI?
Amotions AI is a real-time private AI sales coach that delivers in-call guidance, AI roleplay, and post-call scorecards—trained on the customer’s playbook. It does not join meetings as a bot.
Why suggestions focus on the last thing the buyer said
A live suggestion is only useful if it helps with the next thing you say. When a buyer says “I need to talk to my wife first” or “we tried something like this and it didn’t work”, you need help with that sentence, right now, not a recap of the call.
So Amotions AI waits for a short pause in the conversation (about a second and a half), looks at what the buyer just said, and decides whether there is something worth suggesting. That is why a suggestion can look like a reply to the latest comment. What changes the quality of that reply is everything else the AI reads at the same time.
What Amotions AI reads before it suggests anything
Each time it considers a suggestion, Amotions AI looks at:
•
What the buyer just said.
•
A running summary of the call so far, plus the most recent lines of the transcript. The summary is refreshed in the background as the call goes on, so details from the first few minutes are still there forty minutes later.
•
Your organization’s playbook, talk tracks, product information, and other documents you uploaded.
•
The context of the call, such as your organization and role and any details you added before the call.
•
The last few suggestions it showed you, so it does not repeat or reword the same advice.
If the buyer mentioned their budget, their spouse, or a bad experience with a competitor early on, that detail is part of the summary the AI reads when it answers a later objection.
How the Steps panel tracks the whole call
If your organization has set up call steps (for example: rapport, discovery, qualification, presentation, close), the Steps panel shows them during the call. Amotions AI checks the conversation, including the running summary, and marks a step as done when there is clear evidence it was covered.
Steps are ticked off in any order. If the buyer volunteers their timeline while you are still building rapport, the timeline step can be marked done right then. You can see at a glance what is still open without keeping it all in your head.

How to get better whole-call guidance
1.
Upload your real playbook. The more your documents describe your process, questions, and approved answers to objections, the more suggestions sound like your best rep instead of generic advice. See how to upload documents and links.
2.
Set up call steps. Steps give you a live checklist of what is covered and what is open.
3.
Use Expanded view. Compact view shows only the newest suggestion. Expanded view keeps every suggestion from the call on screen, newest first, so nothing you wanted to come back to disappears. See how to change suggestion frequency and see every suggestion.
4.
Review the call afterward. Post-meeting Insights shows the transcript, a summary, which steps were covered, and every suggestion with its time. Fix gaps by adding the right answer to your documents so the next call is better.
What it does not do
•
It does not speak into the call or show anything to the buyer. Suggestions appear only on your screen, and the overlay stays hidden when you share your screen.
•
It does not script the whole conversation. You get short suggestions at moments where they can help, and you decide whether to use them in your own words.
•
It does not show a separate list of key facts during the call. To look back at what the buyer said, turn on “Show transcripts” in Settings for a live transcript, and see AI that keeps live notes during a call. After the call, the transcript and summary are saved in Post-meeting Insights.
Frequently asked questions
Q1.
Does Amotions AI only respond to the most recent comment?
A.
Suggestions are timed to the buyer’s most recent words, but the AI reads them with a running summary of the whole call, your documents, and its recent suggestions. Details from earlier in the call shape the suggestion.
Q2.
Will it remember something the buyer said at the start of a long call?
A.
Yes. The call summary is refreshed as the conversation goes on, so early details stay available to the AI later in the call.
Q3.
Can I see which parts of my process are already covered?
A.
Yes, if your organization has set up call steps. The Steps panel ticks off each step when the conversation clearly covers it, in any order.
Q4.
Why does a suggestion sometimes change while I am reading it?
A.
A new suggestion can arrive after each pause in the conversation. Switch to Expanded view to keep earlier suggestions visible, or lower the maximum suggestions per minute in Settings.
Q5.
Does it use my own script and objection answers?
A.
Yes. Upload your playbook, scripts, and objection responses, and suggestions draw on them. Every plan, including the free Basic plan, includes playbook uploads.
Q6.
Can I try it on my own calls before paying?
