For financial advisors, wealth teams, and transitioning advisors

Can AI give financial advisors live objection responses during client calls?

Yes. Amotions AI listens to the call and, when a client says “your fee is high,” “we already have an advisor,” or “why did you move firms?”, shows a private response from your firm’s approved wording. The client never sees it, it never joins the call, and it gives no investment advice.

How it works

How does Amotions give an advisor a live objection response?

Your firm uploads its approved answers to common objections and adds the call as playbook steps. On the call, a private overlay hears the objection, suggests a clarifying question and your approved line, and shows which steps are still open. Afterwards, the call is scored.

  1. 1Load the answers your firm approves

Upload the talk tracks your compliance team has reviewed: fees, second opinions, “not ready to move assets,” market worries, and, for teams that have changed firms, why you moved and how the custodian holds client accounts. Live prompts can show that exact wording.

  2. 2Hear the objection, see the response

Start the session in the desktop app on Zoom, Teams, Meet or a phone call. The overlay names the concern about 2 seconds after the client stops talking and suggests a question to ask before you answer, then your approved line. Only the advisor sees it.

  3. 3Review which objections came up

After the call, the report shows a score, the transcript and the suggestions that appeared. Managers see team calls under Employee meeting reports, so they can coach on the objections that cost meetings, and the firm can tighten its approved answers.

What does a live objection response look like on a transition call?

Here is an illustrative call from an advisor who has just moved to a new firm. The client heard from the old firm first and asks if their money is safe. The overlay suggests a question, then the firm’s approved custody wording, not an improvised answer.

  • Advisor:Your plan and the team stay exactly the same. The paperwork will arrive this week, and Maria will go through it with you.
  • Client:Someone from the old firm called. They said moving could put our accounts at risk.

Compare

How is this different from call recording or objection practice?

Recording and archiving tools capture the conversation for supervision afterwards. Roleplay tools rehearse objections before the call. Amotions does both of those lighter and adds the live response while the client is still talking. For a full regulatory archive, keep your firm’s dedicated system.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Short, direct answers on how it works, what it needs from you, privacy, and pricing.

What are the most common objections financial advisors hear?

“We already have an advisor,” “your fee seems high,” “a robo or index fund is cheaper,” “I want to wait until the market settles,” “I need to talk to my spouse,” and “I’m not ready to move my assets.” Advisors who have changed firms also hear “why did you leave?” and “is my money safe at the new firm?”

How should an advisor respond to an objection on a live client call?

Ask one clarifying question before answering, so you answer the real concern rather than the words. Then give a short answer in your firm’s approved language and agree a specific next step. Arguing with the objection, or criticizing another advisor or firm, usually makes the client more cautious.

Can our compliance team control what the AI suggests to advisors?

Your firm uploads the talk tracks it approves, and live prompts can show that exact wording. Amotions AI does not review wording for FINRA or SEC rules and does not give investment advice, so compliance reviews the talk tracks before they are uploaded.

Does Amotions AI help with client calls after an advisor moves firms?

Yes. Add the transition call as playbook steps and upload approved wording for why you moved, how the custodian holds accounts, paperwork and costs. When a client raises one of those, the overlay suggests your line. What you may say, and when, is set by your agreements and compliance team.

Does Amotions AI record client calls or archive them for supervision?

Audio recording is off by default. An admin can turn it on for everyone, for chosen users, or keep it off; recordings play back in the call report. Amotions is not a books-and-records archive, so keep your firm’s existing recording and archiving systems for regulatory retention.

Is client call data used to train AI models?

No. Call transcripts, audio uploads and chat sessions are private to your organization and are never used to train third-party foundation AI models. Data is separated by customer workspace and encrypted in transit and at rest. For a security review, see the security page.
