Renewal save: homeowners policy
- You play
- Agent calling about a homeowners policy renewal
- The AI buyer plays
- Long-time client whose homeowners policy went up
Scenario 1
Your homeowners policy renewal notice shows a higher premium and you do not understand why. You have not shopped yet. You want a clear explanation of higher rebuild costs in the area in plain words.
Buyer says: “Why did my bill go up when I never made a claim?”
Buyer rule: Get frustrated if the agent uses jargon or blames you.
Scenario 2
You have a cheaper quote from another company for your homeowners policy. You like your agent but money is tight. You want to hear real options, such as re-shopping with other carriers, a higher deductible, or bundling the car, before you decide.
Buyer says: “Someone else quoted me less. Can you do anything?”
Buyer rule: Only agree to a next step if the agent asks what matters most to you.
Scenario 3
You already decided to switch your homeowners policy and are calling to cancel. You will stay on the line only if the agent asks why before arguing.
Buyer says: “I am calling to cancel. I already signed with someone else.”
Buyer rule: Say goodbye if the agent pressures you or criticises the other company.
How to use it
How to use this template
- Fill in the policy, the real reason for the change and the options you can offer. The example answers are synthetic; replace them.
- Press "Use this template". The roleplay appears first in your Roleplay list.
- Start with the confused client: explain the change in one or two sentences and check they understood.
- Move to the shopping and cancelling clients once your scorecard shows you ask before you offer.
No account? You can still copy the example above and use it with your team as a script.
