For recruiting and staffing agencies
Real-time AI sales coach for recruiting and staffing agencies
Amotions is a private AI coach for both sides of the agency desk. On client business development calls and candidate qualification conversations, it listens and suggests the next question or response from your agency’s playbook. It never joins the call as a bot. Recruiters also rehearse fee and counteroffer objections with AI roleplay, and every call is scored.

Both sides of the desk
AI coaching for client BD and candidate calls
Recruiting and staffing agencies win on two kinds of conversations: business development calls that turn hiring managers into clients with real job orders, and candidate conversations that qualify motivation, compensation, and fit. Amotions coaches both from one agency playbook, so every recruiter asks the right questions whether they’re selling the search or filling it.
Client side
Business development and job order intake
Cold and warm BD calls, “we use other agencies” and fee objections, and full intake of the job order: must-haves, salary range, interview process, decision makers, urgency, and terms.
Candidate side
Candidate qualification and submission prep
Why they’d move, compensation expectations, counteroffer risk, notice period, and interview availability, asked consistently so recruiters submit candidates who are genuinely ready.
How live coaching helps
How real-time coaching improves placements and client conversion
Placements fall through when intake is thin, fee objections go unanswered, or a candidate’s real motivation and counteroffer risk were never uncovered. Amotions prompts recruiters live to cover each of those moments from your playbook, then confirms a clear next step before the call ends. Better-qualified job orders and candidates give every submission a stronger chance.
- 1
Take a complete job order
The overlay silently tracks your intake checklist and prompts for anything missing before the hiring manager hangs up.
For example
“Who else will interview, and what would make you say yes after the first round?”
- 2
Handle fee and terms objections
When a client pushes on the fee, exclusivity, or guarantee, the recruiter gets your approved response instead of an improvised discount.
For example
“Before we talk about the percentage, what has it cost you to keep this seat open?”
- 3
Qualify candidate motivation and counteroffer risk
Prompts surface the questions that predict whether a candidate will accept: why they’d leave, compensation expectations, and how they’d respond to a counteroffer.
For example
“If your manager offered a raise to stay, what would you do?”
- 4
Close every call with a clear next step
Before the call ends, Amotions reminds the recruiter to lock in the next action: an exclusive search, a submission date, or an interview slot.
For example
“Can we hold Thursday at 2 p.m. for the first interview?”
AI roleplay
Rehearse client and candidate objections before the call
Amotions builds roleplay scenarios from the objections your recruiters hear on both sides of the desk: clients who use other agencies, fee pushback, and hiring managers who plan to post the role themselves, plus candidates weighing counteroffers, stretching comp, or just exploring. Recruiters practice against an AI client or candidate and are scored on your playbook.
- Client: “We use other agencies”
“We already have three agencies on this. I don’t need a fourth.”
Scored on: Asking how the current searches are going and what’s missing before pitching an exclusive or retained option.
- Client: fee percentage
“Twenty percent is too much. The other agency does it for less.”
Scored on: Tying the fee to the cost of the open seat and your guarantee, and holding your terms before discounting.
- Client: “We’ll post it ourselves”
“We’ll just put it on the job boards and see who applies.”
Scored on: Asking how past postings performed and offering a specific, time-bound shortlist.
- Candidate: counteroffer
“If my company matches the offer, I’d probably stay.”
Scored on: Exploring why they started looking in the first place, early, before an offer is on the table.
- Candidate: comp expectations
“I won’t move for less than a thirty percent jump.”
Scored on: Understanding total compensation and priorities, and being honest about the role’s range.
- Candidate: “Just exploring”
“I’m not really looking. I’m just curious what’s out there.”
Scored on: Finding what would make a move worth it, without overselling a role they may not want.
Playbook training
Trained on your agency’s desk process
Amotions learns from the materials your agency already uses: BD talk tracks, job order intake checklists, candidate qualification questions, approved fee and terms responses, and recordings from your top billers. Calibration typically takes about a week. After that, prompts, roleplay, and scorecards follow your process, including topics your playbook marks off-limits in candidate conversations.
You upload
- BD call scripts and talk tracks
- Job order intake checklist
- Candidate qualification questions
- Approved fee, guarantee, and terms responses
- Top-biller call recordings
Amotions coaches to rules like
When a client pushes back on the fee
Then surface the approved value response before any discount
When a candidate mentions their current employer may counter
Then prompt the counteroffer conversation now
When a question drifts toward age, family status, or other protected topics
Then steer the recruiter back to job-related criteria
When the intake call nears its end with gaps in the job order
Then list the missing intake items
Full playbook training is on Professional, $99/seat/month billed annually.
Professional is where Amotions learns your agency’s desk process: playbook-trained custom agents for BD and candidate calls, roleplay built from your clients’ and candidates’ objections, and scoring on your own intake and qualification criteria. Start free on Basic to see live coaching first.
Post-call scoring
Every client and candidate call, scored on your process
After each call, Amotions scores the conversation against your agency’s criteria: intake completeness on client calls, motivation and compensation qualification on candidate calls, objection handling, and the next step. Recruiters see the one moment to practice next. Desk leads see where the team drifts without listening to every call.

FAQ
Recruiting & staffing: questions teams ask
Straight answers on privacy, playbook training, plans, and how Amotions fits the calls your team already runs.
Can Amotions coach recruiters on both client and candidate calls?
Yes. You can load separate playbooks for business development and candidate qualification. Each gets its own prompts, roleplay, and scoring, so the same recruiter gets BD coaching on a client call and qualification coaching on a candidate screen.
Does it work on phone screens as well as video interviews?
Yes. Amotions runs as a private overlay during Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and phone calls on speaker or through a dialer. The client or candidate never sees the prompts.
Will the AI suggest questions we can’t legally ask candidates?
Amotions coaches from your playbook and never speaks to the candidate. You can mark topics like age, family status, or other protected characteristics as off-limits, and prompts steer recruiters back to job-related criteria. Your agency remains responsible for its hiring practices.
How does Amotions help with fee objections from clients?
When a hiring manager pushes on the fee, exclusivity, or guarantee, Amotions shows the recruiter your agency’s approved response, such as asking about the cost of the open seat first. Recruiters can also rehearse fee conversations in roleplay before BD calls.
Does Amotions integrate with our ATS or CRM?
Amotions runs beside your existing tools rather than inside them. Recruiters keep working in their ATS and CRM as usual while the overlay coaches the conversation.
How do new recruiters ramp with Amotions?
New recruiters practice BD calls and candidate screens against AI clients and candidates built from your real objections, then get scored on your playbook. On live calls, the overlay keeps them on your intake and qualification process while they build confidence.
Does Amotions join the call as a bot or notetaker?
No. Amotions runs as a private desktop or web overlay on the rep’s own screen. It never joins Zoom, Teams, or Meet as an attendee, and the person on the other side of the conversation never sees the prompts.
Which plan do I need to train Amotions on our own playbook?
Playbook-trained custom agents are on Professional ($99/seat/month billed annually ($109 billed monthly)) and Enterprise. You can start free on Basic to try live coaching and roleplay, then move to Professional when you want coaching, roleplay, and scoring built around your own process.
How long does it take to train Amotions on our playbook?
Teams upload their playbook, approved objection responses, product knowledge, and talk tracks. Calibration typically takes about one week, after which live prompts, roleplay scenarios, and scorecards use your language instead of a generic script library.
Are our calls used to train public AI models?
No. Amotions never uses customer conversations to train third-party foundation models. Workloads run in isolated, encrypted cloud environments separated by customer workspace. Details are on the Trust Center at /security.
