For wealth management and RIA advisors
A live discovery copilot for wealth advisors who already have a process
Amotions is a private discovery copilot for wealth advisors with an established discovery process. Trained on your framework, it listens during Zoom or Teams meetings, shows one next-best question at a time, silently tracks the information you require, and holds recommendations until discovery is complete. It never joins as a bot. Roleplay and post-meeting scorecards use the same playbook.
- Client (Mark)For me it’s simple. I want to stop working at 58.
- Client (Dana)I’d rather keep working a while and make sure the kids’ education is fully covered first.
Ask this next
“Dana, if the education funding were settled, how would you feel about Mark’s timeline?”
Required before recommendations
1/5
- Retirement timeline (each spouse)
- Risk tolerance (each spouse)
- Held-away assets
- Liquidity needs, next 3 years
- Estate documents current
Private by design
Read the Trust CenterNever joins as a bot
No extra attendee, no recording notice from a meeting bot. The coach runs beside the call, not in it.
Private to the rep
Prompts appear on the seller’s own screen. The prospect, client, or family never sees them.
Your conversations stay yours
Customer conversations are never used to train third-party foundation models.
Works where you already talk
Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, phone on speaker, and dialers, through the desktop app or a browser tab.
What you actually want
What advisors ask for in a discovery copilot
Advisors with a mature discovery process are not looking for a generic sales script. They want a copilot that runs their own framework, suggests one question at a time, quietly tracks what must be captured, handles two spouses with different priorities, and keeps the conversation away from products until the discovery work is actually done.
Your discovery playbook, not ours
The questions, sequence, and standards your firm already uses, whether that is a values-based conversation, a life-planning framework, or a structure you built yourself.
One next-best question at a time
A single, well-timed question that fits what the client just said. Not a checklist on screen that pulls your attention away from the room.
An invisible list of required information
Risk tolerance, time horizon, held-away assets, liquidity needs, estate documents: tracked silently in the background and raised only when something is still missing.
Couples with different goals
Two people, two sets of priorities. Guidance that notices when one spouse has not been heard and helps you draw out both perspectives.
No pitching too early
A clear rule that holds any product or allocation conversation until goals, values, and timeline have been captured.
Configuration
How Amotions is configured as a live discovery copilot
You give Amotions your discovery framework, the information you require before any recommendation, and the rules your advisors follow. It becomes a private copilot that listens during the meeting, tracks what has been covered, and suggests the single next question that moves discovery forward. The same configuration drives roleplay and post-meeting scoring.
- 1
Load your discovery framework
Your question bank, the order you prefer, and the language your firm uses for goals, values, and planning priorities.
For example
Open with what money means to the household before any balance-sheet questions.
- 2
Define the required information
List what must be captured before a meeting can move to recommendations. Amotions tracks each item silently and marks it once the client has answered.
For example
Time horizon, risk tolerance for each spouse, held-away accounts, liquidity needs, estate documents.
- 3
Set the conversation rules
Tell the copilot what to hold, what to redirect, and when to slow down. You decide the boundaries; Amotions coaches the advisor to them.
For example
If an allocation is mentioned before goals and timeline are captured, prompt a goals question instead.
- 4
Run it on live meetings
A private overlay on the advisor’s screen during Zoom, Teams, Meet, or phone meetings. Clients see nothing, and no bot joins.
Playbook upload and rules
Upload your discovery playbook and write the rules
Amotions learns from the documents your practice already maintains: discovery guides, fact-finder fields, and your firm’s approved language. You then add plain-language rules that shape the live guidance, such as holding product discussion until goals are captured or prompting for the quieter spouse. Your compliance team keeps setting the boundaries; Amotions coaches advisors to them.
You upload
- Discovery meeting guide and question bank
- Fact-finder or required-information fields
- Values or life-planning conversation framework
- Firm-approved language and phrases to avoid
- Recordings of your strongest discovery meetings
Amotions coaches to rules like
When a product or allocation is mentioned before goals, values, and timeline are captured
Then hold the recommendation and prompt: “Before we look at options, what would you want this money to make possible?”
When one spouse has answered most questions for several minutes
Then suggest a question addressed to the other spouse by name
When spouses give different retirement timelines
Then prompt the advisor to acknowledge both and ask what each is trying to protect
When the meeting nears its end with required items still open
Then surface the one missing item most worth asking now, and note the rest for the follow-up
When the client asks for a specific recommendation during discovery
Then suggest explaining that recommendations follow once the full picture is in place
Full playbook training is on Professional, $99/seat/month billed annually.

On your second monitor
What the advisor sees during a live Zoom meeting
On a second monitor, the advisor sees a small private overlay: the last few lines of conversation, a label for the moment the copilot detected, one suggested question, and a short list of required information still open. The clients see only the advisor. Nothing appears in the Zoom window, and nothing joins the meeting.
- Client (Mark)Should we just move everything into something more aggressive while we’re young enough?
- YouIt’s a fair question. Let me make sure I understand what you both want first.
- Client (Dana)I’d honestly be more comfortable with less risk.
Ask this next
“Dana, when you say less risk, what would a bad year look like for you, in your own words?”
Required information
3/6
- Shared goals and values
- Time horizon
- Risk tolerance (Mark)
- Risk tolerance (Dana)
- Held-away assets
- Estate documents
- 1
One question, not a script
The copilot shows a single suggested question. The advisor can use it, adapt it, or ignore it.
- 2
Both partners, both perspectives
Your required items can be set per partner, so a risk tolerance heard from one is not treated as the household’s answer.
- 3
Required items stay in the background
The list is there for a glance. The copilot raises an open item only when the conversation creates a natural opening.
After the meeting
Every discovery meeting, scored against your framework
After each meeting, Amotions scores the conversation against your discovery framework: how completely required information was captured, whether both spouses were heard, whether recommendations waited for discovery, and how clearly the next step was set. Advisors see the one moment worth revisiting. Practice leaders see patterns across the team without replaying every recording.

FAQ
Wealth advisor discovery: questions teams ask
Straight answers on privacy, playbook training, plans, and how Amotions fits the calls your team already runs.
Can clients see the prompts, or tell that Amotions is running?
No. The prompts appear only on the advisor’s own screen, usually a second monitor. Nothing is added to the Zoom window and no participant joins the meeting, so clients see and hear only the advisor.
Can it track required information without showing me a checklist?
Yes. You define the items your firm requires before recommendations, such as time horizon, risk tolerance, held-away assets, liquidity needs, and estate documents. Amotions tracks them in the background and only raises an open item when the conversation makes room for it. The list is available at a glance but never drives the meeting.
How does it handle couples who want different things?
You can set required items per partner in your playbook. When spouses describe different timelines or risk preferences, or one perspective has not been heard yet, Amotions suggests a question that brings the other partner in. Your rules decide how the advisor should acknowledge and explore the difference.
How does it stop an advisor from pitching before discovery is complete?
You set a rule, for example that products and allocations wait until goals, values, and timeline are captured. If a product comes up early, from the advisor or the client, the copilot suggests a question that returns to discovery. Post-meeting scoring shows whether the rule held.
Can we use our own discovery framework, such as a values-based or life-planning approach?
Yes. Amotions is configured from your own materials: your question bank, sequence, and language. A values-based conversation, a life-planning structure, or a process your firm developed internally all work, because the copilot coaches to what you upload rather than a built-in method.
Does Amotions give investment advice or suggest products to clients?
No. Amotions never speaks to clients and does not make investment recommendations. It coaches the advisor on the discovery conversation: which question to ask next and what is still missing. Recommendations remain the advisor’s judgment, within the rules your firm and compliance team set.
What happens to client information discussed in the meeting?
Customer conversations are never used to train third-party foundation models, and workloads run in isolated, encrypted environments separated by workspace. The full detail is on the Trust Center at /security, which is worth sharing with your compliance team before a pilot.
Does Amotions join the call as a bot or notetaker?
No. Amotions runs as a private desktop or web overlay on the rep’s own screen. It never joins Zoom, Teams, or Meet as an attendee, and the person on the other side of the conversation never sees the prompts.
Which plan do I need to train Amotions on our own playbook?
Playbook-trained custom agents are on Professional ($99/seat/month billed annually ($109 billed monthly)) and Enterprise. You can start free on Basic to try live coaching and roleplay, then move to Professional when you want coaching, roleplay, and scoring built around your own process.
How long does it take to train Amotions on our playbook?
Teams upload their playbook, approved objection responses, product knowledge, and talk tracks. Calibration typically takes about one week, after which live prompts, roleplay scenarios, and scorecards use your language instead of a generic script library.
Are our calls used to train public AI models?
No. Amotions never uses customer conversations to train third-party foundation models. Workloads run in isolated, encrypted cloud environments separated by customer workspace. Details are on the Trust Center at /security.
