# How do I set up the Amotions AI desktop app on Windows?

> Install Amotions AI from the Microsoft Store and sign in with the same account and organization your playbook is in. If the playbook does not show, an admin sets it as the default and you reopen the app. Live minutes count while a session runs, so stop it between calls.

1. **Install from the Microsoft Store** (https://amotionsinc.com/download): Open the download page on your Windows computer and install Amotions AI from the Microsoft Store.
2. **Sign in with the same account** (https://amotionsinc.com/docs/playbook-and-call-steps): Use the account and organization your playbook was built in. An admin can set the default playbook under Organization settings → Playbooks.
3. **Start and stop with each call**: Click Start when a phone call begins and Disconnect when it ends, so minutes are only used on real calls.

### Why doesn’t my playbook show in the desktop app?

Sign in to the desktop app with the same account and organization the playbook was built in; playbooks work on every plan, including Basic. If there is more than one playbook, an admin picks the one the live coach uses with “Set as default” under Organization settings → Playbooks. Then quit and reopen the app.

### How are live coaching minutes counted?

Live coaching time counts while a coached call session is running, whether or not anyone is talking. When the call ends, click Disconnect or stop the session, and start a new one on your next call. Leaving a session running between calls uses your minutes.
